How long do orders take to process? 


We usually aim to process orders within 3-5 working days after we have received the requested information from you. However, orders which contain multiple documents such as the bundle services can take up to 7 to 10 working days to process. If you have not received an update on the progress of your order within 7 working days, please contact customer support quoting your order number at


If you require an expediated service or you’re working with a tight deadline please let us know via email.


I am not sure whether to order the Graduate CV/Bundle or the Experienced Professional CV/Bundle, which option would suit my experience level?


The Graduate Bundle is designed for those who have recently graduated within the last two years. For example, if you graduated in 2020, you would qualify for the Graduate CV/Bundle as you would have two years of work experience since graduation. However, if you graduated in 2019, you would be eligible for the Experience Professional options. 


The Student options are designed for those who are currently still in education e.g. sixth-form college, university, etc, however, you must be over 18 to place an order with us. 


Once I place an order, how does the process work?


Once you have entered the checkout, you should be able to upload a file at checkout before you place an order. This file should include all the information requested for your type of order in one document that is formatted as a PDF or Word DOC. 

Please read the instructions carefully at checkout to ensure you include all the relevant information for us to process your order. We cannot process orders until we have access to the requested information. 

Please contact if you experience any issues uploading a document/file at checkout.

When we have received the requested information along with your order, a professional writer will be assigned to your order and will produce your document/s in due course. If they are delayed for any reason or they require additional information from you, we will be in touch to notify you of this. 

Once your order has been finalised, we will send the completed document/s to you via email. You are then free to review the document/s yourself and request any adjustments and we will process these for you. 


I have ordered from Cover My CV in the past and I have gained more experience which I would like added to my CV/LinkedIn Profile/Cover Letter, how much would these amendments cost? 


If you have ordered from us in the past and would now like your document/s to be edited to incorporate new experiences that you have attended, a small fee will be required to complete these edits for you. 


You can find this service on our website under “CV Edits for Returning Customers”. The fee for this service ranges from £15 for minor edits to £30 for extensive edits. If you require your CV to be amended for a new industry/new role, the price for this service increases to £50 however we are happy to offer a loyalty discount of 15% for returning customers. 


Once you place an order for this service, you will receive an automated email requesting the document/s you would like edited and details of the edits you would like to be made/new information that you want to be included. 


There is a job I want to apply for, but the deadline is this week. Can I pay for an expedient service? 


Depending on the level of demand for our services, we are able to offer an expedient service where we produce the required document/s within 2 to 3 working days. If you require this service, please contact with a link to the job you would like to apply for and details of the deadline alongside what document/s you would like us to produce for you. 


We will review your request and let you know if we can produce the document/s in time for the application deadline and provide you with a quote for this service. This service usually requires an additional expedient service fee of £20. If you are happy with the quote we provide, we will send you an invoice and once this is paid we will start to process your order. 


If we are suddenly unable to produce your document/s in time for the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. staff illness, we will issue you a refund for the expedient service fee. 


Do you offer a phone consultation as part of the CV revamp service? 


We currently do not offer this service and communicate with our clients via email correspondence. 


Can I order a service from Cover My CV as a gift for someone else? 

If you wish to gift our services, please contact with your request.


Can you produce documents for clients based outside of the UK? 


We have produced documents for clients from a range of countries including the USA and Dubai. However, we are only able to produce documents in English for our clients. 


Once you place an order, you will receive an Information Request Form. When you email us the requested information, please stipulate whether you require the documents to apply for jobs in a country outside the UK. Please note what country you are looking to apply for jobs in so we can tailor your documents accordingly. 


My CV was revamped by Cover My CV a few months ago but I still have not received a job/interview offer, can I get a refund? 


While we make every effort to produce competitive CVs and cover letters, we cannot guarantee that you will receive interviews or job offers. A good CV, while a useful tool, is not a silver bullet in the competitive job market. There are many factors outside of CVs and cover letters that determine where a candidate progresses during the recruitment stages including competition, discrimination and the current job market.
