10/10 experience. I've followed Stef (@flotuk) on twitter for a while and saw her careers advice services and took a leap. I'm graduating this year and wanted to get a headstart with applications considering the climate at the minute (and being a Black woman going into a male dominated industry). I was in contact with Arielle and the whole experience was great! I've got the exact internship I wanted as well as several other  upcoming interviews. I contacted the Cover my CV team because I needed a cover letter completed at very short notice, I ended up also getting a whole new professional CV done! I used the 'Student CV Revamp' service as I have now left school and within 3 days, I managed to get a job! 'Cover My CV' company is very helpful and thorough with their work and has a very quick turn around for your service. I am really pleased with my updated CV and I notice a very big difference that it needed. I highly recommend this company as aswell as being trustworthy, there is a range of options to choose from which might be useful to others. I purchased the graduate CV revamp, and I am amazed at how professional my cv looks absolutely amazed i have little experience yet on my cv i look like i have all the experience needed for my role, the service given by the team is fantastic, genuinely no faults, the turnaround was very quick and very professional. I highly recommend the Career Coaching package for anyone seeking clarity and/or direction in their career path. I can't fault anything about the session. Stephanie had clearly taken the time to research my field beforehand and gave great advice tailored specifically for my experience/field. I really liked being able to leave with a clear action plan. Disappointing, considering I've used this service before. (Where I was so so so proud and happy).

Second time round and the first document that was sent to me looked like the person had spent 5 minutes on it. It did not sound like a professional from my industry had written it.

They had even attached a completely different persons social media to my CV which proved my point. My CV read like a 16 year olds retail CV. I asked senior colleagues to comment and they all said my previous CV (which they also wrote was better). It was comical. They have unfortunately set a high standard they have proven they can't keep up with or I simply drew the short straw. Maybe I caught someone on a bad day but that shouldn't have been at my expense.

Eventually I had to get someone else to amend the CV for me. I'm not the most amazing writer... hence why I paid someone to do it for me and I don't really expect to be asked what is wrong when there is clearly an issue and a drop in quality.

It's still £80 down the drain.

Anyways
My email asking about revisions etc was ignored but the CEO messaged me offering me some coaching. (I don't want or ask for).  My revision email was responded to only on the 8th of April when I sent it on the 29th.
